URBAN ORGANS II
This series of paintings is a continuation of the iconic "Urban Organs" collection, with a renewed focus on close-up portraits and a changed brush style that reflects the bright light of Spain. The paintings showcase strikingly vivid colors and intricate details, with a clear emphasis on the components of urban infrastructure. While the theme of networking remains present, it is more centrally featured and less abstracted than in later series. Cable strands reaching out of the picture frame add depth to the compositions.

The prominent use of a French Blue primer is a significant stylistic element in this series. The vibrant and dynamic quality of the "sky" in these paintings is achieved through up to five layers of translucent paint, using a combination of acrylic paint and Caran d'Ache crayons. The textured canvas and highly textured primer further enhance the shimmering effect, evoking the sensation of hot air.

Aquesta sèrie de pintures és una continuació de l'emblemàtica col·lecció "Orgues urbans", amb un enfocament renovat en els retrats de primer pla i un estil de pinzell canviat que reflecteix la llum brillant d'Espanya.
Les pintures mostren colors sorprenentment vius i detalls complexos, amb un clar èmfasi en els components de la infraestructura urbana. Tot i que el tema del treball en xarxa continua present, es presenta de manera més central i menys abstracte que en sèries posteriors. Els fils de cable que surten del marc de la imatge afegeixen profunditat a les composicions.
L'ús destacat d'una imprimació blava francesa és un element estilístic important d'aquesta sèrie. La qualitat vibrant i dinàmica del "cel" en aquestes pintures s'aconsegueix mitjançant fins a cinc capes de pintura translúcida, utilitzant una combinació de pintura acrílica i llapis de colors Caran d'Ache.
